3rDi helps content creators make awesome Augmented Reality content without needing any specialized knowledge or skills.
AR, or Augmented Reality, refers to the idea of overlaying real-world items with digital ones.
We use our proprietary artificial intelligence algorithm to recognize your elements and augment them with resources.

Please check the video For step by step guide on creating the entire AR Experience. To make an AR Experience with 3rDi, you'll: choose some Elements (e.g. paintings and sculptures) capture Element Identifiers (e.g. photos and videos) so our Artificial Intelligence can recognize them attach Resources (e.g. audio tracks or videos). Your visitors can download the 3rDi Mobile App to view the Resources in real-time when they point their smartphone at an Element. (Link a video or help created)
For 2D Elements, like a painting or sign, an Element Identifier is a photo of the Element. Photo Identifiers should: Be taken straight-on Include the entire Element Be high quality, without blur Be .png or .jpg format All Element Identifiers should: Be taken using a smartphone similar to what the Element will be viewed on Be taken the same distance away from the Element that visitors will be when viewing Be taken in the same lighting that visitors will be in when viewing Include the same, or similar background that visitors will see when viewing
For 3D Elements, like a sculpture, statue, or artifact, an Element Identifier is a video of the Element. Video Identifiers should: Be taken straight on from the Element while walking at a constant speed in a complete circle around it Be approximately 5 to 20 seconds in length, depending on Element size Include the entire Element in most frames Be high quality, and not rushed, blurry, or shaky Be .mp4 or .mov format All Element Identifiers should: Be taken using a smartphone similar to what the Element will be viewed on Be taken the same distance away from the Element that visitors will be when viewing Be taken in the same lighting that visitors will be in when viewing Include the same, or similar background that visitors will see when viewing
Right now, we support these formats, but we're always trying to add more! Image - .png, .jpeg, .jpg formats 3D Model – .zip format Audio – m4a , .mp3 formats Video - .mov, .mp4 formats Text - .txt format
Please Contact us at ( 3rdiLab.com ), to request a professional 3D Model creator. In the meantime, please visit Sketchfab.com to review their gallery of available purchasable 3D models. In the future, you will be able to order 3D models for 3rDi Marketplace.
Once you create an element and add an identifier and pair resources, Click the “Publish” Button. That’s it. It will be available to the Mobile users in 24 hours.
The canvas autosaves with every action you take. That is one less thing for you to worry about.
Any type of resource can be added using the Same “ADD New” Button.
After you publish an Element on the Canvas, it will be available on the app within 24 hours. Any user with the 3rDi mobile app who points their camera at the Element will see the resources you attached!
Our Artificial Intelligence takes time to learn what your elements look like. We're working on making it much faster!
At the Play Store (Android smartphones) or App Store (iPhones).
Yes. The app will run on iOS and Android Tablets.
Artificial Intelligence is smart, but it makes mistakes sometimes. We’re always trying to make our AI smarter so this happens less often.
Most of the time it’s because the Element Identifier wasn’t quite right- make sure that your Identifier follows the guidelines in the Experience Creation Q&A.
L3rDi is working on adding support for animated 3D Resources right now! We also have plans to add translation, gamification and other cool features. Stay tuned, and feel free to email us your feature requests.
